Where are all the singers?
Where are all the singers?
A few weeks ago, the big buzz on this board was about bass players and how hard we are to come by.
Well, what about singers?
For the last month or so, Jason (HF1), Ron (former Grimm), and I have been actively seeking a singer for our side project, Lies, Inc. Between online and music store ads, we've gotten next to no response....
Vocalists....what's up? Where are you all? Why are you all.......silent?

I find that it's very difficult to locate an excellent vocalist. There are a lot of people out there who can sing, but it's hard to find someone with good pitch, good timing, stage presence, and most importantly, GOOD TIMBRE!!!! There's a lot of things that seperates professional-level singers from kareoke stars and high school chorus soloist and one of those things is timbre.

Good timbre? Don't ya just have to drill them out a little until you get the tone you want?bassist_25 wrote:I find that it's very difficult to locate an excellent vocalist. ie tried out with ron from the grimm and jason berardi before, and we just didnt click in the cover thing. I dont know if it would be worth it to keep banging on the same door over and over again, thats why i didnt respond. If you want me to try out with you guys, id be happy to, but i dont know if it would work.
