What the fuck? SNOW?!?!
Aside from my mother and Savage Heart, am I the only person that thinks the more snow, the better?!? I love the stuff. I've been called just about every name in the book for saying how much I dislike Fall and all of the dead, rotting, decaying, and burning leaves. One of my favorite things in life is being outside when there is a fresh sheet of snow over everything and it is dead silent outside. Does that make me weird?

The big ice storm last winter did that all over northern cambria and blair counties. Old 22 was totally destroyed by fallen trees, took almost 2 days to cut and remove all the trees just below the Lemon house.Jim Price wrote:AtoMikEnRtiA wrote:
Not necessarily. The heavier snow is supposed to fall on the ridgetops. I live in the valley, where we're only supposed to see a few flakes mixing with rain, or light slush at worst.and your leaves are as good as gone. haha
The problem will be if we get accumulating wet sticky snow on the ridges; if it sticks to the leaves that haven't fallen down yet, it could wind up breaking off some branches and knocking out power in a few locations, or even blocking roads.
I drove up there just before the roads became icy and it truely was winter wonderland, everything looked like it was sugar frosted.

I was almost taken out by a police car on my way to school today. I never knew that those things were rear-wheel drive. I also had to sit for 45 minutes at the end of Crooked Sewer coming into Clearfield. Everyone got stuck coming off of the hill. There was a tri-axle behind me that continued to slide towards me as I waited for the bottom to clear out. I was ready to bolt from my car if the driver lost control. Yes, it was an interesting ride today.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.
