Bottom line: Assundor's lies and games have exposed him for the kind of person he is ONCE AGAIN. Anyone who can read and comprehend English and looks at this latest situation he’s created can see that ... (even people who were, this time last week, before he fucked them over, still in his “band.”) I know at least a few of them have come to realize what he’s about and have headed in the other direction. Good move. Eric and DJ are both awesome musicians and great people and they deserve to play with pro musicians, not some putz like Assundor.
BTW, there's a good reason the talk of holding a benefit show for Assundor turned to donating just clothes for the kids last year. When people "found out" the real truth about Mr. Assundor's situation and how he misrepresented and exaggerated what really happened, they were no longer willing to or interested in raising money for him, something he asked for FOR HIMSELF over and over again and kept asking for. Who asks people to hold a benefit for himself?
And after I researched the situation from the newsroom, I made sure the good hearted people here on Rockpage who were ready to launch a major fundraising event for a con artist knew what the real deal was.
Rockpagers were, however, willing to help the children by donating clothes. Still, he kept asking, over and over, for people to hold a benefit show for him, while he kept putting off collecting the clothes people were offering to give him. If my kids had no clothes, and people had clothes to offer, I'd go get the clothes. Read the thread. He's in no hurry to get the clothes. He's worried about the BENEFIT SHOW — the part that gets his unemployed ass paid.
As for me being “self centered,” I know a thing or two about lending a hand to people who have faced
real crisis. When people are in need and I have the means, I always try to rise to the occasion, to do my part. I won’t elaborate. Thing is, good people who are in
real need don’t ask for help, don’t want to be a bother and genuinely are humbled by their situation. Assundor is a con artist and is humbled by nothing.

You and Assundor have done your best to steer people away from the point of this thread ... which is the bullshit stunt Assundor pulled this week which impacted people in the bar business — real musicians’ co-workers.
