I just wanted to point out that there are bars out there that will book new bands and give them a chance to prove themselves and earn fans but that we don't appreciate being screwed over. I was only trying to help out the local live music scene. As you can see, the Huntingdon area is starved for entertainment! Anyway, local musicians just starting out: If you want a chance to play in front of an audience for a little bit of money, give me a call and I'll try to help you out. If you're too lazy to load and unload your equipment, stay in the garage and play for your girlfriends.

Asundor- haha, you are a jackass. i cant believe you would ask for more money like that after agreeing to a show. who the hell do you think you are? if the emails baddazerob posted were really from you, i feel sorry for your band. oh yeah, and your spelling sucks too. i hope you sing better than you speak and type. i would NEVER cancel a show. asking for MORE money is stupid after you agree on an amount. you dont sound like the most educated guy, so maybe you dont know about finances. im glad they didnt agree to your $250 dollars. if your band didnt want to do a 3 hr show and tear down equip, you are a bunch of morons. i guess after jerking eachother off all day, you couldnt carry equipment.

I have known Rob for YEARS. And I can tell you this, when it comes to the band business, there is no more consumate professional than Rob.

(That means he's really good at what he does.)

I had the pleasure of filling the drum seat in Bad Daze for a summer, and I was blown away by the professionalism and pride that Rob and all of camp Bad Daze takes in what they do. And they damn sure wouldn't commit to a gig just to decide "I don't feel like carrying my amp.". That's for pussies.

I've been playing drums for 32 years, and I've been playing out in front of crowds since I was 13. You, my young friend, have a LOT to learn about the music biz in general.

Remember, the gig that you cancel will come back to bite you in the ass. Bar owners know each other, and they talk, and they DO frequent Rockpage. If your band wants to play out, you better be willing to pay your dues and play for small money and small crowds at first. That's the way it goes, pal.

And one other thing, those "little town" bars are some of the funnest places to play!! If you go in somewhere small and tear it the hell up the first time you play, then from there on out in that bar you are GOD. Don't believe me? Catch a Bad Daze show at Davy's in Hastings. They can do no wrong there. Know why?

Because they treat it like they were playing at the Bryce Jordan Center. They are PROFESSIONAL about things. Learn a thing or two.

But don't badmouth Rob. Cause a lot of people here on Rockpage will come to his defense. More than will come to yours.

This is Jason's wife, I am not on here to say anything about whats going on because its all stupid, but as far as the "fake fire scam", my daughter could have died in that fire, it started under her bed, and yes we needed help, we did not ask for money, we asked for any help at all. And when we lived their a fire starts under one of our girls beds. And yes for the record caused quite a bit of damage. We once never asked for money,only cloth's for the kids.
