Jerome Bettis Show

Post by paul »

Hey everyone I went to the taping of the Jerome bettis show which was taped this Wednesday. As some of you know (but most of you don't because most of my business is out of state or out of the country)I own and operate Big Head Guitars where I build and paint custom guitars. I do a lot of work for Chuck the guitar player for The Smokin' Section which is the band that plays on the Bettis show. We decided a few months ago to build a Tribute guitar for Jerome which we presented to him on Wednesday. Here are a few pictures if anyone is interested. The first one is a closeup picture of the guitar itself. Check them out.

Image
The next one is a picture of myself and jerome when we presented it to him and the others are of Jerome hamming it up on stage with the guitar during the show.

If you ever get a chance to go down to the the taping of the show do it. They tape every other wednesday at the stadium in the Great Hall. But it is definetly worth checking out as this will probably be his last season.

Thats some nice work, Bill Hockerl was talkin about you on the way to Harrisburg the other day. Very Nice!

You should make one for Tom Brady, and then break it over his head when you go to give it to him! "oops...sorry about that Tom...."

If you think that Paul's finishes look good on the computer, you have to see them in person to truly appreciate them.

The same dude who is the all-time leading rusher for a back his size and is top 10 all-time in rushing yards. At 33, he's still better than 80% of the backs in the league.

Yeah, at times I can go with that too...like not benching Maddox this weekend, especially after they had another chance in OT.

Thanks guys, Yeah Jerome was a very cool guy and the show was a good time. I suggest that anyone who hasn't been to the new stadium to go down and check it out. And if you get a chance to go down for the taping of the show to do it cause this will almost certainly be his last year and the next time you will get to see him will be when he gets inducted into the Hall of Fame. (And its going to happen like it or not)
