Los Straitjackets are awesome. It's pretty much impossible not to have fun at one of their shows. I saw them at Xeno's and had a friggin' blast. Fast pickin' on twangy Fenders. Aiyha!

believe it or not, I really dig some surf music. we even wrote a song loosely based on a surf rock riff. It is affectionately entitled "Here Comes the Shark". I dig everything from Six Feet Under to Dick Dale, from Prince to Entombed.

I remember the first time I heard The Apache by The Ventures. That's still my favorite surf tune. Los Straightjackets are awesome though.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.
