After about a half-hour of amazement, I finally figured it out.
The formula always gives a number that is a multiple of 9. When you click on the "try again" button, the symbols change so that a different symbol is on all of the multiples of 9.
The only multiples of 9 that have different symbols are 99 and 90, which can't be the result of the formula.
Very cool. Spellbound, check your math. It works every time.
I've figured out a few of Criss Angel's tricks too. The easiest to get was how he lifted up the front end of the taxi in Vegas.

It wasn't that tough. After I got past my initial amazement, I decided to figure it out and started writing down the numbers. Once they were written down, it was easy to see that the answers to the formula were all multiples of 9. I looked at the chart and all of the multiples of 9 were the same symbol.
... and then the wheel fell off.

They just had to find out how much weight Criss could deadlift, and then put enough counterweight in the trunk to offset the weight of the engine and the rest of the car. They never opened the hood, so they could have also put a tiny engine in there, an aluminum block, or even an electric motor to help the counter balance.Skate Toad wrote:How is the taxi done?
He was still lifting close to the max weight he could lift, so it didn't look fake and the taxi didn't do a wheelie down the street.
... and then the wheel fell off.
