Actually... I started back to work two weeks ago. I don't have a lunch break anymore at this job and by the time I get home, I'm usually too tired to get online. : (*

Actually search pa labor laws, I've heard before that Pa was the only state without mandatory breaks and I couldn't find a law stating so ?

Yeah, I worked a real shitty job as a night mantience person at the Milesburg McDonalds. Being a janitor would have been higher on the job prestige gauge. I only lasted one night and said, "Screw this!" Anyways, I worked eight hours straight without being given any breaks or a lunch.

I landed an IT position about a month and a half later, so it all worked out. I use to pass that McDonalds while traveling to clients' businesses and I couldn't believe that I worked there for a night. What a shitty job!!!

I really can't complain about the job. I mean, it's work, lame!, but...as far as jobs go, it isn't all that bad for me. Even 10hr days seem to go by pretty quick. Oh well - whatever it takes!

Sheesh...then my employers have all been pretty decent. It's commmon sense. If an employee is working for 8 or more hours, if they've had a chance to take a breather or two and get a little sustenance, they're going to be far more productive. That's better for the employer's bottom line. Plus, unless you're salaried, they don't pay you for them, so it's a win/win situation.

That depends on the job, when I was waitressing (VERY high-volume restaurant) we did not get breaks nor did we want them as long as bosses didn't hassle us when we were able to take a quick 5 min. (although that happened...very annoying) It was too hard to coordinate with tables and all. Rhythm/timing is in all kind of occupations, not just music.

You're right, I am celf-centered. I do think I'm great, and small children want to be like me. I have 800+ posts because people take deep consideration into everything I say. Ron built Rockpage to house my ego, and I graciously let others in. Geddy Lee, and Les Claypool are on speed dail in my phone book. They call me if they get stuck with a bass riff. Why do you think they're so awesome? Gas prices - yeah, that was me too. I got bored so I called the oil companies and told them to raise gas prices for awhile because I wanted to hear people bitch about it. Then, when I decided that it was enough...I got back in touch with them and told then to ease up a little. Hey, even I didn't want to pay $3.19 a gallon. Oh, and by the way...when I get off of work tonight, I have a meeting with the CEO's of GE because my idea for the most cost effiecent, and longest lasting lightbulb was approved. I have so much to do in one day, it's hard being me. You should be glad that you don't want to be like me. No on really knows how difficult it is to juggle everything that I do. Work, a relationship, friends, family, bands, being a complete genius. It's rough.

Look son, the next time you try to come around, and act like your all high and mighty with an "I don't care, fuck you" attitude. Let me remind you that there are bigger and badder pompous wind bags out there that can blow the same amount of steam you can.
