IF a member of Slipknot wore a Chicken mask, then they might have a drumstick to stand on. I think it's more of a publicity stunt than anything else. My daughter, a fan, laughed at the article and said as much, too.

Not really ripped off. Mushroomhead was offered a deal first but, turned it down, then Slipknot was signed to a better one. They kind of had it both going on at the same time. Slipknot's "masking" was because they all had other bands at the time. Some say it's a rip off but, if you look closely at it, it seems like it was going on in 2 different areas but, I don't know the whole story...Just what I mentioned.

But anyways, this is bullshit. It's a good ad campaign and does nothing to help or hurt them so they need to STFU.

Yes, Mushroomhead started in '93. Slipknot started in '95. Mushroomhead was very well known outside Cleveland by the time Slipknot started, I call that a rip-off.

The site makes these guys look like a real band. I don't think they look anything like slipknot .. Then I don't listen to Slipknot, so, I wouldn't know .. But, from the pic I just saw of them, I don't look anything like the dudes with chickens on their heads ..

I think someone is trying to seek publicity, and a little more marketing. It seems to be a common accurance in the entertainment business ..
