One of the bands from my area will be playing the Coca-Cola Great Hall starting at 6pm that night. If you get a chance, check them out... for a preview http://www.doppleraffect.com/

If you ain't near a TV for the game, tune in to ESPN Radio 1430 AM or Rocky 104.9FM, we'll both be carrying the game.

No Mandatory Metal tonight, I'm afraid. Sorry.
Dood...

I rushed home from work, turned the game on, then promptly passed out on the couch. I saw bits and pieces of the 4th, but all of the third. They look good this year. Need a little improvments, but pretty good overall.

I'm glad Hines Ward ended his holdout. Now fingers crossed that Duce and Joey can get back to 100% after their injuries!

Does anyone know of an internet stream, free, that I could get the Steelers games on? Almost every pre-season game I'm working...it's just the pre-season but, I still want to hear it.

And man, I'm glad Hines ended his holdout. What a way it would've been to destroy a possible Super Bowl run by him not playing this year. And the Rooneys need to sign him for what he's worth. The Steelers absolutely need him to win it all.

Plus, he's on my fantasy team, so I was shitting my pants with my number 2 receiver possibly sitting out all year.
If youth knew; if age could.

I have to work threw them also. So, I just dvr them ..

Jim, I am glad Ward is going back as well. It should get good now. I don't think they will match what they did last year. But it should be a good year anyhow ..

 Bite your tongue! As far as Ward goes, there are plenty of players, maybe even an unheard of rookie, :) who could take Ward's place...I say let him fulfill his Contract first, then negotiate once that's expired. It was good of him to show for the first game to support the team - he earned more respect from me for that. Randel El cracked me up when he asked the announcer whether T.O. was on his Fantasy Team. :D I was so sick of hearing about him all night and had just remarked to my daughter that he should make a joke about him! Having grown up so close to Philly, I just about hate the Eagles. GO STEELERS!
