Actually, that is too. I stand behind everything I said. I think it's whack to delete off-topic posts. This isn't my MB though, so I don't make the rules. No biggie. I was just expressing that I would handle things differently.

You've jumped my shit for no reason in other threads... like when I posted album reviews. What's your beef with me, anyway?

Please PM me or drop me an e-mail, I don't want to clutter up the board with nonsense.

Gotta admit, that's a pretty good one. :D At the next Rockpage jam, every act should be required to play Lick It Up. The best version earns you a cake, or some shit like that. Fear my industrial bluegrass rendition.

Rock! Ha ha ha. I can't believe the lady wrote me back seriously. I hope to get another relpy. They have to think I'm just nuts or "special". This shit has become my new hobby.

If you guys have problems with Rockpage, then why don't you address it on Rockpage, or even talk to Ron if you have problems...

World domination rocks. People that attack other people over the internet that they don't even know do not rock.

I couldn't get the links to work for some reason. At any rate, for the record, the only cover I ever saw of Lick it Up was by a Pittsburgh band at Aldo's about 10 years ago. Does anyone else do it? And do I give a ratzass what people think of me in Pittsburgh? :D ----->JMS

I got the links to work... same shit, different board. Norman Nardini rules, The Clarks are cool, everybody else can pound sand. Where's the emoticon for "yawn" when I need it? ----->JMS

I know a guy from the South Side of PBG who played with several bands there(guitar), and had to move to Altoona for awhile. He said he had this snotty attitude at first like he wouldn't find a band here good enough to play with. Well, he said he realized after awhile that he was playing with and seeing BETTER musicians here. Plus there was much more comraderie here among musicians, and everyone knows the informal jamming is where the fireworks can happen. He thinks the talent here is amazing, and I agree. Anyone know him, his name is Mark Davis?

I'm guessing that you did not get the links to work. I don't see anybody over here saying that Norm Nardini rules or that the Clarks are cool. You also missed the point. Eric is spamming the spammers and having a good time at it.

I was going to type out something long and annoying, but I realize that it would just be seen as an attack. Whatever.

When did this turn into an assualt on Pittsburgh? I never said anything negative about anyone here. I just asked why Hurricaine was jumping my shit when I've never given him reason to.

Actually... I just posted funny letters to spammers & corporations that apparently are hard to get to by clicking a link...

You obviously didn't follow the top link. The page has nothing to do with that... and for the record, I can't stand the Clarks.

Am I gonna have to bust out the pictures of wine and cheese on you guys too? :D  Geez, who cares if some guy, who's probaly in a band with "integrity" (i.e. a band that plays in his basement for his 7 drunken friends), thinks that Altoona bands are just Kiss cover bands?

BTW: Lick it Up is my favorite Kiss song. :D Vinnie Vincent was The Man (even though he did look creepy as hell).

Anyways, spammers suck and The Clarks are cool.

Eric,
Thanks a lot! I had tons of stuff to do this afternoon but instead got immersed in your "spamming the spammers" thread for well over an hour. Funny stuff - lunar domination you betcha. :D

Yikes, I totally worded that completeley wrong. I meant the part about Norman and the Clarks... I LIKE those guys.
Ah crap, I was just being my curmudgeonly self and assumed they were busting on Altoona. My bad, I apologize.
I've been all over... Altoona has some great musicians. As good as ANYWHERE, and that's all I'm gonna say about that.-------->JMS

I'm from Altoona and the musicians there are every bit as good as the musicians here and most of them are even better. I think of it all as one big scene since I spend a lot of time playing here and there as well as anywhere in between.

Aaaaah yes, "insanity"...you have to be insane or you go crazy, or
something close to that, I always
say! :) For instance, I love Chik-Fil-A, but it seems the only time I'm hungry for it and get to a mall is on a Sunday and they're closed. Plus, the last time I was through a mall was when buying my daughter's Prom shoes, month's ago.
Chik-Fil-A should expand. :-)

Some might not realize that Eric has played in Altoona and maybe even met many of the musicians on here in late April. Anyone wanting to get their established bands into the Pittsburgh scene should read the Posts between him and another band member in the Upcoming Shows area, "Finally", I do believe. They said they'd love to get into Pittsburgh and he offered help to them, imagine that. ROCK ON!
