A Get Together at OZZFEST

Post by poolpimp911 »

Who is going to ozzfest? I would like to know. I think that we should have a get together there, so people could put a face with a name. (no matter how ulgy the face is) I would be up for it. Even if is before the show to have a few beers and some food. So how about it. Let me hear what you think.

I have gone every year since 1997, this year is no different. It's like a ritual. This year I have three rockpagers going with me. Looking forward to seeing BLS and Mudvayne.

What acts are you anxious to see?

I'm going. I'm looking forward to Iron Maiden, Sabbath, and I guess BLS, though I hear Zakk's been getting pretty trashed before shows lately, and really screwing up.

From what I've been reading, it looks as though Sabbath actually has a bit different setlist this year, which will be cool.

How about before the show. We can have a few dozen beers and some food. I think that I can round up a grill. Did you all see who is playing where Main Stage Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Mudvayne, Shadows fall, BLS, In Flames

Second stage, Rob Zombie, Killswitch Engage, As I lay Dying, Mastodon, Adozen Furies, The Haunted, Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Burry Your Dead, It Dies Today, Soil work, Trivium, Gizmachi, Wicked Wizdom. Talk about some HEAVY METAL BANDS. I almost want to say that the second stage might be better than the main stage.

I plan to be there around 6AM and start there the lot open's at 8am door's at 9am and first band starts 9:30am. Let me know!!!

I heard that the band Wicked Wisdom features Jada Pinkett Smith. I was curious if Will Smith is going to be there and get Jiggy wit it. Not that I care or anything.

I am going. And I expect to walk away from it asking myself why I went, just as I have since '97. But, I keep going....I just don't know why? It hasn't been a good product in almost 10 years!

Myself and my 105 pound girlfriend will be in the pit! Gotta love winning free OzzFest pit tickets. We'll also be dragging DisturbedViking along with us! I'm looking forward to Killswitch, Shadows, Trivium, and Soilwork. Just picked up Trivium two days ago...great CD. Soilwork is another must have CD! We're leaving around 8:00ish so we can catch Z Dozen Furies...battle for OzzFest band. How cool would that grand prize be!?

2nd Stage running order for Pittsburgh...

Trivium
The Black Dahlia Murder
The haunted
Bury Your Dead
Wicked Wisdom
Gizmachi
Soilwork
It Dies Today
Arch Enemy
A Dozen Furies
Mastodon
As I Lay Dying
Killswitch Engage
Rob Zombie

Trivium will probably start around 9. They will probably be listed as starting at 9:20, but the first band always plays earlier.

maybe we all oughtta pass our cell numbers to each other through PM's, IM's, etc, or something, and call or text everybody our locations in the parking lot when we get there?

Not sure what time we'll be leaving or getting there, I don't think I'll be getting there at no 10AM...

I'll be there. The girl, and myself shall be.

I'm quite a bit pissed that Soilwork is so early in the day. We'll probably get there in time for Rob Zombie, and then ALL of the main stage bands.

I bought my pavillion tix the SECOND they went on sale, and still got seats far back in the pavillion.
