Bobby , are these your old drums ? LOL Maybe if you tried a different set up it might have worked.

huh, thats gotta be the sweetest drum setup ive ever seen...lol

thats actually about as pointless as suspending everything on strings from the ceiling, which, in fact, i would love to see a drummer do. Maybe when i get to the point where i can have a full band, i will make that a requirement.

That is freakin hilarious! I've actually gone on stage to sit in with band and when I sat down, realized the kit wasn't far off of that. Now THAT sucks.

Reminds me of Virgil Donati's new setup. He's got two "flying" rack toms, set up on stands at about 10am and 2pm on the drum clock, up high like someone would set up a pair of china cymbals. I'll look around for a pic, but it's a sweet idea.

In that pic, it doesnt really look like the rack toms are very high up off the rack.
