"If the skidmarks on the kid's undies don't fit, you must acquit!
I'm not at all surprised. It's Holly-weird; they acquitted OJ, now they have acquitted MJ. If you have money and want to commit a crime, Southern California is the place to go...
Call me whacko for Jacko, but I think it was the right verdict. No matter how you feel about MJ, the prosecution had a weak case that never should have made it to court.
If anything, this case made me LESS likely to believe that he's really a child molester. And believe me, I think Mikey is up to some weird shiznit.
DA Tom Sneddon has been gunning for Jacko for the past decade. After devoting so much time (and taxpayer money) to investigating MJ, the best witnesses he could come up with were a family of grifters who can't speak for more than 30 seconds without perjuring themselves?? I followed it all pretty closely, and sooo much of this trial was spent with the prosecution witnesses making excuses for lying under oath in earlier trials, or before a grand jury, or 2 minutes ago in their testimony . . . .
Yeah, the system did work today, just wasnt enough eveidence to convict him. I still think anyone who has kids sleep in there bed is fucking whacked, i mean cmon!
I guarentee it will happen again, child molesters dont go cold turkey.
Wouldn't it be weird if this guy was really just a nice guy? Wouldn't it be strange if he was only trying to express love, I mean look at his family, what do you expect. I find it amusing that because he profess's to show love in a way other then what we in Blair County think of as usual ( getting drunk and hitting each other ) we assume that it is perverted.
Just an opinion, I have no idea if there is malice involved here but...
I am sure that he will still have to pay in some way or another even if he is completly innocent.

We WAS NOT found innocent, all a not guilty verdict means is that there was not proof beyond a reasonable doubt but not guilty was the jury verdict and like it or not, agree with it or not, we must respect it.
At some level, I feel sorry for MJ, he had no childhood whatsoever and because of his money or at least the illusion of money who can he really trust?
Yes, it would be nice to believe that he was just a nice guy but it would be nice to believe in a lot of things.
It's not a nice world.
and in this world, we don't wanna believe that husbands beat their wives and parents beat and molest their children but it happens. We don't wanna believe that a parent wouldn't be put off by a grown man who lives in his own amusment park with complete with monkeys and lamas
It's not too difficult to believe that some parents were out there looking for a large check to make the whole thing go away and that fact makes the whole situation that much sadder.
That being said, I think it's utterly and completely inapproprate for a 35 year old man to allow pre-teen children into his bed, under any circumstances, whether or not he had illicit intentions, or anything unsavory actually happened and I hope that MJ learned his lesson, this time.
if nothing else the MJ verdict should make Republicans happy as it proved yet again that the rich and powerful can get away with anything. All it takes is money
I continue to think what I thought before the aquittal. I think the man was innocent this time. I think those people wanted his money and that was it. No funny business. I think the man is loose in the head and just trying to be nice to kids. I think it was innocent them staying in his bed...I also think it's a wee bit wierd for them to be there, but we don't know if it was the first night they stayed there (wierd) or after several times of visiting (possible okay)...
So...I don't think he touched these kids. I think it was their parent's ploy to get money. I think they tried to use him. I think he did give them alcohol. How many of us had a few sips of dad's beer when we were kids???
And, like all the election mumbo jumbo, I will be glad when this story goes away.

I'll be the one left standing behind you, looking the other way as you glance back at what you've lost.
These people just want MJ's money? MJ doesn't have the money that people think he has. He's going to be forced to sell rights to things he's "part" owner of. Yep he's weird, and I do believe this was a bunch of crap. I mean how many times before did that mother sue someone. The whole family lied, each and every one of them.
I'm not a big MJ fan at all but I really believe that this was a lie.
I have been holding my tongue on this one but now I will speak. As an artist I respect Michael, I think he overcame great adversity and I think he is a great talent, singer , dancer etc... I do however think he is a victim of a bad childhood and perhaps some mental instability, does he molest boys? Hell I don't know, Is it strange to sleep with young boys? Well of coarse, BUT I do believe this family was hoping to get filthy rich by exloiting Michael, I have 3 children and I wouldn't let them stay with Michael so this would all have been a non issue and the fact that these people did allow it makes me question their motives. I hope Jacko seeks some help and I hope he again writes and performs, and to those of you who feel wronged by the verdict well just like Bush being elected again it may or may not suck depending on who you are but it is what it is. ... Michael congrats and good luck !
I'm glad I didn't have to fight in a war, I'm glad I didn't get killed or kill somebody, I hope my kids enjoy the same lack of manhood
I agree with Hurricane; yeah, the system worked. The burden of proof wasn't there, and Jacko remains a free man.
Still, I think back to several years ago, when Jacko settled out of court with somebody else who was going after him on similar charges. I have my doubts about the guy; hopefully this whole fiasco serves as a reality check that prompts Jacko to clean up his act.
I think that this kids mother was hoping he would settle out of court, Jim. When he didn't they had to think of something. So they had the kid trained to say what they wanted, till he cracked and admitted that he lied, and, that his mother put him up to it.
I do think MJ is on the top of the Wacko list, I believe his childhood could have a lot to do with that. But, I also think that it is a a total farce for some one to make something up and sue some one just because they want money. Personally, if I was MJ I would take the mother and Prosecutor to civil court and sue them. His career and will be affected bu this.
