Altoona Native Brad Kensinger

Post by rreihart »

Brad Kensinger, a shredder from Altoona whose musical focus was greatly influenced by players like Jeff Wallack is in a band based out of NYC called Kevorkian. They have a new promo video and it is well worth watching. Unless, you're not really into shredding death metal.

I've been following Kevorkian for some time since they somehow got ahold of my e-mail address for their mailing list. They have been getting some great shows lately and things are starting to look really good for them. I wish them the best of luck. I still miss the days of jamming with Brad in Rapture...

Nice shit. I had heard of them previously from a band I was in but, this was my first look at them.

They sent me their first demo a while back, when they were still in Boston. It was pretty good. I need to check out the newer stuff. I doubt that Brad would ever play anything that sucked...

Immortality In Culture is their latest CD and it's great! Way better than the demo. And the Britney Spears cover is awesome!
