Episode III
You saw that in Return of the Jedi too. After Luke leaves the bridge when speaking with Leia, and Han comes out and wants to know what was going on. They sort of yell at each other, then she says "Hold me."
That was lame too.
That was lame too.

Ah, see, now I don't think that's fair for you to say that. Leah had to be strong throughout the whole movie. She never faltered. The two times she showed she was a woman was that moment and earlier on when she gave Luke a kiss "for luck".
If she had been like that the whole movie, then it would have been lame. But for an instant or two...that was true.
I don't care who you are, everyone has a sensitive side. Woman show it more because of instinct. Guys don't because crying or being sensitive dubs them "wusses". So, if she wanted Han to hold her, then let her be held.
Hell, I wish there were more guys out there like that that would hold a woman when they're at their breaking point without expecting to get laid from it.

It's not that they say "Hold me". It's how they said it. It's funny in an odd way that doesn't seem to fit. Not saying it but, saying it oddly makes it crappy to me. It wasn't an anti feminine sensitivity comment. It was a comment saying that I've seen scenes like that that were done better in high school plays.esa wrote:Ah, see, now I don't think that's fair for you to say that. And I went and watched it a 2nd time. It was even better but, I liked it the first time so I'm biased (especially based on on the fact that I'm a science fiction geek).
If youth knew; if age could.
i for one, thought this movie was excellent as far as closure goes. i think some people read a little tooo much into it and maybe that is why they didnt care for it as much. i understand alot of peoples complaints here and i am by no means here to shit talk anyone for their POV, but the movie wasnt really to explain the boba fett/han solo grudge, or chewbacca, or anything like that, it was simply to explain the anakin/vader inner struggle. i do agree that it doesnt seem right that obi wan and yoda puss out and go into hiding, that doesnt really seem to be the jedi way. but to explain the technological regression from the newer movies to the originals, the galaxies in the new movies were heavily based on technology, robots and fancy ships and shit like that, but in the galaxies in the originals didnt have all of that due to the fact that they were run down from the 20sum odd years of civil war and constant turmoil. the robots were pretty much destroyed and taken over by the clones (storm troopers). all in all, i thought that this movie was great. there are a lot of books out there, most of which i've read that tie in almost all of your loose ends, IE the fett/solo conflict and how the millenium falcon came to be in the hands of solo and how solo and chewie met. that is actually really good story even for not being written by Lucas himself, if u are all that curious about that sort of thing i strongly recommend reading some of the books.
finger deep in the borderline, show me that you love me and that we belong together, relax turn around and take my hand...

Got my official Kellogg's EPI DVD and fired it up. Yep, that's when I was convinced...when he (as the Sith Lord) said that he would take care of things in the Senate at the end of EP I.DMFJ03 wrote:You didn't know it was him until EP II??!
Damn, I knew that from the end of EP I!!

Possible spoiler.. Question
****** Possible Spoiler ******
How did the Emperor send a message to (The separatists?) while appearing in cloak looking old before his face even got messed up? I believe it's the part where he says "I will have a new apprentice soon" .. then a few minutes later, you see him as Chancellor Palpatine...
