May PA Musician

Post by Jim Price »

The new May issue of Pennsylvania Musician, with the band Brickhead on the cover, is now available. State College, Altoona, Hollidaysburg and Duncansville receive their issues on Thursday. Cresson, Ebensburg, Portage, Johnstown, Claysburg and Bedford County receive theirs on Friday. Clearfield County, northern Cambria County and everybody else will receive their issues either Saturday or Monday.

Dubois should begin receiving the magazines again this month; a volunteer has stepped forward to distribute some magazines in that area.

I used to distribute in this area,(Huntingdon) but the live music scene here is DEAD now. Except for the County Line Inn in Mount Union. Do you have anyone taking them there? If not I'd be willing. I could put a stack there and maybe a small stack at Peggy's Place. Maybe that would get some of the "DJ kids" at Peggy's to go see some REAL music.

I do leave magazines at the County Line Inn. I just started dropping some off at Boxer's in Huntingdon this month.

If you'd like to deliver magazines to that area, PM me your mailing address, and I can arrange to have magazines sent to you to distribute in that area. It would save me time and gas expenses taking them there from Altoona.

What about giving them to bands to pass out at shows?

AiXeLsyD used to give out local 'zines and comic books.

Jim, your inbox is probably full. It's the only way I know of that a PM won't go through.
... and then the wheel fell off.
