Hat's off to StoneKrow and Westmont Gardens!

Post by GUITARII »

Let me start off by saying WOW! What a blast last night at the Westmont Gardens for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society benefit. I had such a good time!!

I was really nervous being the only "classic rock" band on the venue but you guys showed a lot of support and we had a ton of fun.

House of Cain, Jason.... I still can't get the old ticker back in time! What a rush!!! You guys are phucking fantabulous.... and got the place rocking! Can't wait to hear "The Lancing" and hey Daniel.... why'd I have to load my own gear? :?  Man am I glad you have a sense of humor!! Notorious... way to lay the hammer down 'bro you guys kick ass!!

StoneKrow.... Eric, AJ, Chris and Frank... ROCK! Plain and Simple... way to carry on the momentum House of Cain brought! I wish I could have stayed longer.... I know I missed out on a good time! You guys Rock Hard!!

Hey Torn.... it was great seeing you and the misses! Thanks for the kind words man.... your type of support on the local level is what keeps everyone wanting to get out there to play!

Lastly, the sound crew and staff at the Garden. What a great group of people! I mean that with the up most sincerity, what a great group of folks. This is what it's all about people.... sharing a talent for the betterment of another..... I wish I could post the sign, but stand up and "APPLAUSE" for everyone there!

I can't wait to get another opportunity to hang out with you all again!

Amen Brutha!!

I couldn't have said it better!!!

I had such a great time Saturday night!!!!!!!!

House of Cain and StoneKrow - you guys kick major ass. :: doing the bow down thing from waynes world!::

I don't think there is much more that I could add to what Dan already said except this: Jason, It has been a few years since I've heard you play and you are still one of my idols!!!!!! (I doubt that will ever change - I just wish I could have talked to Chad - oh well)

And, like Dan said, it was soooooo good to see many of you rockpagers (and meet a few more!).

I really believe that times like last night are what it is all about. Making friends, making money for a great cause, having fun, playing music, drinking (yeah, I'm still an alcoholic), and just doing what we love to do!! All of you rock!!!

What a night.. If you missed it shame on you. I think the damage was around 120-130 people. All for a great cause.

Last night was the first time that I herd Beyond Reason all I can say is Jaw dropping stuff. I dont think that anybody has ever tried and perfected the "classic rock" that you played. I know with that show you have made alot of new fans in the J-town area. I will go and see your show again.

Next, House of Cain... speachless not only was it heavy, I know that my ho's can still dance to it. I can't wait to hear what new songs come out of that camp. I know that they will be songs to remember.

Last, Stone Krow what else can you say about them.. If you herd them play back in the "good-old days" you know what to expect. But, if you are as young as I am and you just got your first taste you never herd music played that good. At some times I had to make sure I was not listening to a cd. You can tell that AJ, Chris,Frank and Eric Have been playing for a long time. I hope that they will play again. Hopefully together if not, with any band.

It was an night to remember. If any of you need someone to work with you find me no matter where it is I will be there.

Boy, were the lights and sound good last night. Hahaha Strobe lights rule!!!

But, how come nobody had the COWBELL what is up with that??

I had one hell of a good time!

It was awesome to see some of the old crew again. Like Tom said, I just wish Chad would have been there.

House of Cain - when's the cd coming out?!?! A a huge thanks goes out to Daniel for letting me use his bass cab.

Stone Krow - Like Dan said, I wish we could have stayed longer, but everything was sounding awesome.

Ray - superb job on sound!!
Curtis - awesome lights man, ..."Don't look into them!!!"

Thanks to everyone who came out and made things possible. Hopefully we will see everyone again next year.

I regret missing the show. I was trying to find a ride because I would have not been able to legally drive... wish I could have been there. Heard everything was awesome.

Thank you all for being part of this benefit, I had a great time!! The total head count including the bands was around 150. With the cover charge, the 50/50 raffle and the Steelers raffle, total funds raised for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society was $801.00. I was very pleased to see so many good hearted people from all of our bands and the crowd all together in one place. I had an awesome time and Im hoping to see you all again soon! I'll be posting more info and a thanks from the society soon!
