Just for the record.....Claudio and City Limits have been nothing but generous to us in the year we've played there. Yeah early on last year the take wasn't what we wanted...but the more people caught on and came to see us the more money we started making. Now we always walk out satisfied. it just seems weird. I'm sure all you are saying is true. However, you have to realize, bringing 60 people in...and bringing 200 people in is way differant.

What I mean is not only is door better, but:

More alcohol is consumed.(when more people get together they not only drink more cause of the numbers, but because humans are social-get more people in a room...they tend to drink more per person.)

How many people on staff?? At least 6-7 right??? How much do they get paid??

How long did the largest sum of people stay the whole night?(huge factor on the amount of alcohol sold)

Did he pay the sound guy??? That right there is usually $100.

i know you got screwed...not denying the renig of the deal. Just saying there are alot of factors. maybe 30 of the people were his guests. Whatever the reason...it's unfortunate. I have to say though i love Claud...and his bar. The staff is fantastic...and given the choise to play there or some of the other places we play......I would choose City Limits over alot of them. Just my thoughts. Take care all!!!! Rock On \m/

"if they don't know you, they won't come!" That's crap and I wish people would expand their minds a little bit and try something different. You just might like it.
...Preaching to the choir! I myself would like to check out Beyond Reason very soon. See, you are only creating publicity with your plight. But Bobby is right in a way, I know those guys have paid their dues but they don't bitch about that too much, they just keep going. And I hope you have a better day today Bobby.
Guitar ll , what is Frito Pie, whatever it is, I bet it IS great with chili!
TODAY IS BOB DYLAN'S BIRTHDAY
herald, I miss you, give us a call
Frito Pie is real easy... get regular frito's (no bar-b-q) put them in a bowl or baking dish, cover with you're favorite cheese (MMMMMM...cheese), then top with your chili concoction and then, you guessed it, more CHEESE!! Cover or put in the oven for a few minutes until everything gets real goooey.... throw a little sour cream on top if you like and dig in!!

It's the shiznit!! but not for the lactose intolerant!  Enjoy!! :D
