I just discovered podcasting, which is basically making a "show" containing your music, talk, audio diary or any audio content you wish, and posting it somewhere on the internet as an mp3. The listener then downloads the mp3, ostensibly to an ipod or other mp3 player, but also listenable on your computer, and then listens when convenient. For right now, at least, there's no money to be made, because music licensing applies only to streaming currently, although this may change in the future. I've listened to several shows, including a great blues show tha, oddly enough, played Fat Vinny and the Wise Guys' "Barroom Floor." The host got it from Garageband.com., and because he makes no money, it's legal, in fact, it benefits the band by presenting it to a worldwide audience... this show is one of the most popular on the web... he reads listener mail from all over the planet.

This is similar, but a little more structured. The content will be used on cell phones, cable and satellite TV:

I bought 20,000 shares on a private stock placement at .25/share and its now trading at $1.75/share on its 3rd day of public trading. I don't know if it will fly or not, but its looking pretty ripe from an investor's view.
