Much like Tom, I don't know woofburger, and I always try to give people a fair shake. It didn't seem like woof has gotten that so far here. If he (or she) is a dickhead, that will be revealed in time and in pubilc, but I haven't seen it here. I would've been curious to see the post on your guestbook, though.

At any rate, it's cool to discuss an share viewpoints like this. It's also very healthy. How about some more thoughts on the runaway bride?

I thought runaway bride was a good movie, not great or anything - but that and a twelve pack can keep me amused for 90 minutes. :D

I don't care, one way or another what is said here, concerning Woof's posts.

I can see most of the points presented, from both sides, and think that everyone is right.

If he wants to toot his own horn, then let him. I think everyone here has tickled their own fancy enough times and as everyone knows - it will eventually go away.

I think I'll blow the kazoo here for the hell of it...

 "Cuz the bottom line is this: I'm gonna walk up and down the beach, with my muthaf***ing speedo's on, I'ma walk up and be like 'Sup bitch?!'

I think the biggest thing is that the " character " is the same type of guy I hate to be around............. The big studly jock, of course the writer is probably a scrawny little shit ( or fat as hell ) just sitting back laughing cause he gets a big controversy going.

I personally like the "awkward moment at work" type story a little better because it was just funny and it wasn't belittling anyone.

Brian of the Clan Plush wrote:My post was poorly worded. I didn't mean you were defending Woof, so much as defending the spirit of free speech on RP, to the extent that its not hurting anyone.

I respect you and Rob, and just don't want to see you chagrinned when/if Woof's true colors come to light.
Oh no prob Brian. You were a cool guy when I met you in January and I still consider you a cool guy.

Again, I don't think I would say that I was defending free speech on Rockpage. It is a privatley owned site, and Ron's free to delete/edit anything he sees fit. It's the same way with you editting/deleting posts on your message board (which I believe a band should do in certain circumstances since you want to present the most professional image as possible). Again, I just thought people were overreacting to Woof's posts.

My point exactly.

Anyways about the bride... Dude have any of you seen her eyes? She looks psycho.

this guy, wolfburger, is probably one of those dudes who watches the wiggles and jerks off. Either that, or he stalks herds of sheep to wait til they go into heat. With an attitude like his, and aviator glasses, he cant be getting as much as he thinks he is.

I dunno, man. I get this sneaking suspicion Woofenheimer's not responding on purpose. Dance, my little lemmings, dance! I also get this odd feeling that it's an alter-ego of someone we know. (I assure you it's not me. I am, of course, a damn-skippy hotass piece of eye-candy, but I love women. As many as I can, anyway.)
I don't really think he's funny, in fact it almost seems like he knows that. Absurdity in a Monty Python kind of way, except without the brilliance and acerbic wit. Like the French would think he's a genius. You know... not funny. Hey, I didn't get Andy Kaufman, either, and some people think he's hilarious.

P.S., Bobby Hurricane, I dig nerdy girls, no foolin'. Smart women, MM-MMM-GOOD. I have a secret crush on Zappa'sWife. Ah, nuts, now it's not secret. 8) ---->JMS

9 out of 10 of his posts so far have been about making women seem like ditzy little cock hounds that can't live with out his abuse. As a woman, I am insulted. This is the attitude of a rapist. Pure and simple. His posts have nothing more than trash talk to make him sound like "he's the man" when he isn't. Actually, he seems like a reversal of Aja. Where once before, women were letting themselves get put down by the man, and now as Woof-Booger, a man is putting down women.
Funny little coincidental world, ain't it?

Treating women like they are worthless nothings. If you guys call that comedy, then I'd hate to see what you thought was "priceless" in your lives.
Just remember: everytime he says about some worthless woman going down on him...every time he plays one of us for a dumb broad...that could be your wife..your sister..or your mother that he met today and dreamed that post up about.
Doesn't make me want to laugh about it...makes me want to take a shower to get this filth feeling off of mind.

I'm sorry, he's not a comedic genius, he's an idget.
Whoa.... I know who this person is now! I just figured it out!!! It is someone we all know..... someone very close.... very close. And ESA is exactly right, she knows........ she's right! Your wife, mother, sister.... cousin?? Could be anyone you know and love!

I have to say that I too have chuckled over different things this character has posted, and am now ashamed and somewhat heartbroken... but, I also know I have too much time on my hands which has seriously affected my mental well being, so I'm told, but doesn't change my opinion about this person, which I guess I'll keep to myself so as not to affend anyone else by calling him/her a name.....

Probably!!! You have to know a woman (or women) who is obsessed with what "men can get away with". Perhaps this person is the equivalent of Mr. Garrison from South Park.

Romance novels just were not cutting it!!
