Homer's Army marching through Altoona !

Post by Hawk »

I caught Homer's Army last night (4/16) at Burgi's. WOW !

What's so special about them ? They manage to balance themselves on a very fine line. They are pleasing for musicians to listen to AND pleasing for non musicians. And people can dance.

They do this with a unique blend of material you don't often hear. Four great voices, often with four part harmony. And talent behind each instrument.

Good musicians, good harmony, good music, makes a really good band.

Thanks Hawk,

And thanks for sticking around til the end. It is always a pleasure playing for appreciative audiences.

The chicks danced on the bar, Griff's mom almost decked some A-Hole, and we got boob-flashed several times. All in all, a GREAT night!!

These guys are truely awesome. The music, the go betweens with them on stage...makes for a very humorous, comfortable, enjoyable evening of drinking and dancing. And they don't play that (c)rap shyte either. : )* Go Check These Guys Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Homer's Army....

Hawk said it best when he was talking to Griff at the end of our Festival last Saturday afternoon.

"Homers Army is the Musicians Band. The Band that all the Musicians are talling about"

Can't get any better than that..... 8) 8) 8)

"John, Don't look now but The Nightcrawler's are coming"
