Hah, Cinnamon Girl...that reminds me of one night while enjoying Flame Sky at The Cantina, this drunk guy staggers up to the band and slurs,"have ya ever lived with a cinnamon girl?" which was his way of requesting the song...it was cute actually.

I knew a stripper named Cinnamon. Worst boob job ever. You could almost read the serial numbers on 'em. Nipples off in different directions like looking at a cross-eyed man. Ladies, if you're gonna have anorexia and/or a coke habit, fake boobs just look... fake. I would MUCH rather see tiny boobs, or saggy boobs, or chubby boobs than PLASTIC boobs. You know, they make those extenders that go on over the end of a feller's what-what... if some guy came at you with one of those, wouldn't you just laugh yer ass off? Come on sweeties, KEEP IT REAL.
How's that for sending a thread careening in a completely different direction? Lord, I apologize...

Thanks! I never said I was good with words either. Jae usually tells me to quit singing when I start making up my own words to verses I can't remember. I do know that "what-a-nyah-nyah" sound your guitar player does get's stuck in my head too at that part..... arrrgh! lolhomerski wrote:Sorry Esa, It is "Cripple Creek" and here's the "refrain" so that you can sing the words while it's bouncing around in your head:esa wrote:Oh, and John... I'll have you know... I've had that Cripple (cribble?) Creak song in my head all week. ALL WEEK! Stuck! In My Head!
::hums:: she saves me when I spring a leak...
Up on Cripple Creek, she sends me
If I spring a leak, she mends me
I don't have to speak, she defends me
A drunkard's dream if I ever did see one
And my favorite line from verse 3 of 5 is:
"That's when that little love of mine, Dips her doughnut in my tea"
The song that I have trouble gettin' out of my head is "Cinnamon Girl".
Once again, Sorry![]()

Leave it to songsmith to turn any thread into one about boobs. He is the premiere 'Breast Man'. He talks about breasts like the rest of us talk about beans...sometime I oughta give you the shock of your life while you're singing somewhere songsmith...

Eww, yeah... I had managed to dissociate that... Okay, then... I do not enjoy man-boobs, or those that are unnecessarily hairy. ZW, yours? Bring it (them) on!!! And none of this "quick, flash, done" crap... I want to remember it. A wine connoiseur doesn't chug, he takes his time, sniffs, then samples, taking the wine into his mouth and swishes it around... oh crap, for some reason I'm getting wood, and I need a glass of wine.

Well, Last night's gig at the Indiana VFW finally got us out of our slump.
It was a great night with the dance floor full from song #1, and lots of positive feedback (applause) from the crowd. Of course it was, Indiana, not Altoona or Johnstown. The Indiana area has been very good to us from day one.
Hopefully Burgi's will follow suit tonight, after all technically it's not in Altoona.
Come on out and hear what a difference experience makes tonight with
HOMER'S ARMY - Rock Musicians
at Burgi's Roundhouse Bar and Grille, GREENWOOD, PA.

Well Burgi's was better than ever....
A very nice appreciative crowd, the chicks danced on the bar, Griff's mom almost decked some A-Hole, and we got boob-flashed several times. All in all, a GREAT night!!
