Here is the recap of the December 31 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.
For the final evening of 2017, we closed out the year with our annual Year in Review Special! We started with January, and worked our way through the past year from the perspective of the area music scene. We recapped the special shows and events, band formations and breakups, personnel moves, passings and other curios associated with the region's music scene in 2017! And we played tunes from many of the bands and artists who helped define the area music scene during the past year!
