"Sometimes, adventures suck when you're having them." - Neil Peart, Rush.
The last six years have been the best musical journey I have ever undertaken. We created amazing music, culminating in "The White Devil Chronicles, Volume 1". Naildriver is something that I poured everything into; blood, sweat, tears, money, pride, my very soul. And now, unfortunately, that time for me has come to an end, as my body simply will not allow me to do what I need to do. As much as I would like to stay, it would not be fair to the band to ask them to sit and wait until I am able to fully contribute again. The band needs to work, to write, to play, to grow, to evolve. And the best way for that to happen is for me to comply with my doctor's advice and step aside.
Eternal thanks first and foremost to Scott for dragging me out of semi-retirement and starting me down this road. To my brothers Matt, Todd, and Bushy, it has been an absolute honor to be your drummer and brother. Thanks also to Jamie Lambert at Saluda Cymbals and Jim Haler at Yamaha Drums US for their undying support. Eternal thanks to Rich McGarvey for hosting our brand of mayhem in Altoona, giving us a place to play.
And to each and every one of you, the fans that support Naildriver, it has been a privilege to play for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will miss all of you incredibly.
I will still be handling the social media end of Camp Naildriver, so feel free to drop a line and say "hi". (Allowing Botteicher near a computer is NOT a good idea, lol!!)
