Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the December 27 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.
This week, we closed the book on the past year with our 2015 Year In Review Special! We worked our way from January to December, recapping the area music news, happenings, shows, personnel moves, formations and breakups, new recordings and more from 2015, and we played music from area bands and artists who impacted the local music scene in 2015! Along the way, we debuted a new song from Subject to Change, as well as new holiday season music from The Clover.

We'll kick off 2016 by doing what we frequently do on the "Homegrown Rocker," updating the newest recordings from area bands and artists! We'll empty the mailboxes to see what arrived during the holiday season, and share lots of new tunes from local and regional bands and artists! We'll also update "Local Music News," dig out a "Local Music Flashback" from the archive, step "Across State Lines" to hear music from an independent band or artist from outside of PA, and review Jim Donovan's Sun King Warriors CD in "The Professor's CD Corner!"
Upcoming guests and specials include:
JANUARY 17 - Jack Pyers
