So good to have another option.. I like Alice Cooper.. but there's only so much I can handle.. Rocky truly sucks.. quick rock doesn't come in very well in
Hollidaysburg.. glad to hear Q 94 is back.

Bout damn time a classic rock station comes back to this area. Hopefully they have their own dj's to do a prime time slot. When I lived in tyrone 104.9 and 93.7 (state college) both played cooper in the evenings. Not a bad show but it's gone down hill. He used to be good for more obscure music. I think whatever media company controlled his show told him to quit giving people what they want and stick to the standard rotation. Bunch of crap cuz that's what most radio is anyway. The same 100 songs on a constant loop. Homegrown rocker is the only exception to the law. We listen to the radio while at work and once free beer and hot wings is over the wqwk formula is too predictable. Same with wbus. Tommy Edwards makes the morning show on wrck unlistenable. Just my loose change.

I always enjoyed that Cooper plays deeper cuts and stuff that hasn't been beaten to death by Top 40 rock radio for the past 40 years. But on the other hand, his on-air personality is terrible. I feel embarrassed for the dude every time he tells one of his jokes that is about as funny as paving a sidewalk.

Sweet, I've finally reached the dream of becoming a marketing icon. It's like that episode of The Simpson where Homer looks like Mr. Sparkle.
Actually, if this were a country station, I wouldn't be surprised. As a tall, thin dude with bleach blonde hair playing bass, I've been mistaken as Tully Kennedy on more than one occasion (even by people who live and play in Nashville).
