My one and only guitar is having fret issues high up the neck and is essentially no longer playable for me and I'm poor as hell so I don't have money to buy a new one. I play metal and prog metal so a bad neck is no good. I was wondering if anyone has a guitar they'd be willing to let go cheap or free if you just want to get rid of it. I need it for home recording so I don't care what it looks like, as long as the neck and electronics work, that's all that matters. If you want money for it, I'll scrape together as much as I can.
You're welcome to have my guitar as a trade if you want it. It's an Epiphone SG model with an EMG pickup. It plays okay up to about the 12th fret but beyond there some frets don't sound the note clearly unless you raise the action really high. But for a beginner or just jamming on some basic stuff it works fine. I just can't use it as it's no good for playing complex leads.
