Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the September 20 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.
We debuted more new music on this week's program as we checked out new recordings that have arrived recently. Listeners heard new tunes from Easy Tiger, The Legendary Hucklebucks and Clyde Frog. For our "Across State Lines" feature, we spoke with New York-based Ian Mellencamp (nephew of the famous John Mellencamp) about his music and career as he will play in the State College area later in the week. Along the way, we updated "Local Music News," dug a 1998 number by Harrisburg's Plum Loco from the archive for this week's "Local Music Flashback," and reviewed Adam Ernst's Dirt Road Memories in "The Professor's CD Corner."
Here is this week's playlist:

Along the way, we will update "Local Music News," dig a "Local Music Flashback" from the archive, and step "Across State Lines" to hear a song from an out-of-state independent band or artist. (And if ongoing technical issues are resolved, there may be a "Professor's CD Corner" feature.)
