Thanks Bob! I finally started working on the design for rev 3. (again)
It will take a while before everything is done, but it is under way.

WOW! That is quite a milestone. Congratulations.

Thank you Ron for creating this site and all the hard work you do to keep it going.

I greatly appreciate it and I know others do as well.

I still visit it each day as well, and still post stuff here and there (mostly "Homegrown Rocker" recaps and band show announcements). And I know people who regularly check Rockpage for show announcements, band schedules and to seek musicians, sell and buy gear.

It's interesting to note that several years ago, I was posting "Homegrown Rocker" recaps to some five or six different local music forums around the state. As I post recaps today, only two of those forums are still active - Rockpage and OSH Radio. The others have vanished or been taken over by hackers and spammers. And Rockpage still sees regular traffic; I seem to be the only person posting anything on OSH Radio anymore.

Thanks to Ron for keeping Rockpage alive. It is still a valuable resource and online gathering place for folks involved in the central PA music scene, even if it doesn't see as much traffic now as it did a decade ago. It's not out of the realm of possibilities that this place could get busy again.

Great site. I am on almost every day. I've found several good gigs and bought equipment from people on here. Keep up the good work, congrats!

Proof positive about the continued value of Rockpage for area musicians...

My band was cold-called a week ago and booked to perform at a private party in Tyrone on Friday night (Oct. 30). The gig went extremely well and we were very well received. After the show, we asked the person who booked us how he found out about our band. He described seeing our band listing on a web page where our song listing appeared, as well as multiple show dates. He was describing Rockpage. And he booked us after seeing our song listing, it was exactly the music he liked.

So bottom line, people still browse Rockpage to learn about local bands and show listings, and your band listing on Rockpage still has the potential to land you gigs! It did for us!
