Stolen Guitar

Post by 4daysdirtyjoe »

hey if everyone can keep an eye open for an Ibanez Talman electric guitar that was stolen forom the endzone on sunday at our show i would be very thankful. Its black with an off white pick gaurd. a humbucker at the bridge and 2 lipstick tubes at the neck and mid. it had stickers on it and i am guessing who ever has it now probably took them off. the head stock has pearl tuning pegs. it also has a very noticeable and rather large chip in the paint just below the back strap button that is down to the bare wood. i love this guitar and i would like to find it before i leave for iraq. the bands that played with us were, and i am not blaming anyone, hy-tide, the preps, cannibal cow, and mullet roe. if any of you see this guitar or even one that looks like it please call me @ 814 329 4262. for all i know someone picked it up by mistake and didnt even know. any help would kick ass.

That's one thing I HATE about playing multi-band bills: your equipment usually isn't up on stage the whole night like a regular gig, so it's difficult to watch it.

Hope your story has a happy ending like Urbs' did. As I always say, be sure to check pawn shops and of course, ebay.

We'll keep our peepers out for it. Sorry to hear it's missing, maybe it just got shifted in with the other bands qwipment.
Check ebay, pawn shops, trade in stores... even good will places... and put up a picture of it (if you have it) at music emporium and stores of the like. It helps...

Hey man, did you hear anything yet??

I just went through this, so I can really sympathize with you. I was lucky though and if you look through my post, you can see some of the details.

Definately check with local pawn shops. If it wasn't for the guys at Crazy Hazy's who didn't buy the guitar off of my neighbor (FUCKIN THIEF) but did have a really good description of him and the car he drove, I would never have gotten it back. So, would hurt to call around or even stop in some of these places.

I (as well as many of us on here) will keep my eyes and ears open and I really hope you get as lucky as I did.

Keep us updated!!!!

Hope this young man gets his guitar back soon. He attended our show at The Post last night, and was as nice a guy as you'll ever meet, despite the fact that he is a what you'd call one dangerous motherf**ker. I'm working on a Throwdown Machine for his battalion... mil-spec wiring, Spectra-fiber frag-proofing, Desert Camo case. God bless him on his mission.----->JMS

oh man. I cant stand to hear when things happen like this. Its a sad fact that theres people in this world that dont know how to keep there hands off of what doesnt belong to them. if nebody ever scarfed anything more than pics from me its a sad day those in the wrong. But i hope that the culprit realize his/her mistake and returns your trusty axe. Im Assumeing your serving our country heading off to Iraq, so I would like to thank you on behalf of all of us. Stay safe over there, and FIND THAT IBANEZ

If any of my guitars were stolen, after I was done crying... I'd go on a rampage.
