That's not exactly true...
My ad got me 2 different bands
I also have to disagree with carvinplayer. I've gotten quite a few gigs from this site, and made some decent cash doing it.
I've been playing gigs for 37 years. Always lucky enough to have a gig when I wanted one.
The loop is important though.
I've lost so many good friends over the years to heart attack, cancer, alcoholism, wrecks... We're a family here and need to stay connected.
not the point I was trying to make...I was trying to say that there are certain vultures on here just waiting to attack people they don't even know. People who think they know it all and can do it all and just wait for people to post things they have no business jumping in on.... I have been in the business for nearly 40 years and have just a "little" experience here and think I know what I'm talking about, but certain folks just seem to want to be a buzz kill, so it's best just to not say anything at all anymore...
Just don't need the hassle....
