Drastic New Pennsylvania Smoking Ban Proposed

Bars, casinos, restaurant patios, and private clubs are all on the list.

Senate Bill No. 80 and House Bill No. 1485 seek a Pennsylvania smoking ban that will include all of the following:

• A full service truck stop.
• A residential facility.
• A private club.
• A drinking establishment.
• A gaming floor.
• Any outdoor deck, patio or similar outdoor service which is part of a food or drinking establishment.

So we're looking at banning cigs and legalizing pot.

Only banning cigarettes from public places. Presumably you can still smoke on the street and in your own home or someone else's. As it stands, smoking marijuana is illegal regardless of where you smoke. Not quite the same thing.
