March 22nd Benefit show

Post by TheBMC »

On March 22nd a benefit will be held in Altoona to help Sue Kies during a troubling time. She is fighting a battle with cancer and the money raised will help with medical bills. I am currently looking for 3 more bands to donate an hour set each. We will have a total of 5 bands each with a 1 hour slot and 20 minutes between each set for change out. I would also like to find an accoustic act that would be willing to play on the side during the change outs so we can keep continuous entertainment. I plan to have a seperate small PA for the accoustic act and will have the main PA provided for the bands on main stage.

My band, Phoenix Ignite would like to play this show. We are a punk influenced rock band from PA. I can send you some demo audio if you would like. You can contact us at bmiddleton2@gmail.com. Thanks,
Brian

Thanks everyone for the responses. I've been out of commission the past two days because of a back issue and haven't been checking this. I plan to get in touch with people tonight. We have had a lot of responses! thanks again, the folks in the music scene around this area are a great group of people.
