but here's more like what they actually look like today (don't click if you're eating right now):http://www.academia.dk/Blog/wp-content/ ... Body_2.jpg
I think the bigger question is, if they were still alive today, would we still hold them in as high regard if we had been able to watch their eventual and slow declines into obscurity and sell out-ness (can't think of a better word off the top of my head). To be honest, when Elvis died, we had seen that side ofhim and we saw him pulling himself back up by the bootstraps...would he have continued ascending on the backs of new generations of fans? I think the question is a sound one.

Ahh, the possibility of a journey into depravity... Who knows, really. Hendrix definitely had a lot more to write, but then again, the money in the music industry in his day and age wasn't as big as it is nowadays. Several others in that list, yeah... I can see them writing just for a buck. Not to say he wouldn't've, as it's absolutely impossible to tell what someone would've done given the changes in their lives (or the existing occurrences)
I will say this though... They really didn't age some of those faces very much, considering the years they would've put on to this day!

I don't know, it's hard to tell sometimes. On the one hand, you have Grace Slick, who looks normal for her age (i.e. not like she lived through the drug and music scene of the 60's like she did), not a lot of wrinkles, still looks pretty healthy. Bob Dylan and Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) also spring to mind, they look fairly innocuous now, typically elderly but not awful and sickly like one would think after living the lives they way they did.VENTGtr wrote:Or what some of them were putting their bodies through...or...through their bodies...Naga wrote: I will say this though... Then you have Keith Richards, who looks exactly like you'd expect somebody to look after living that lifestyle...kind of like death warmed over.
