Like it or not, Nirvana is a shoo-in. Pearl Jam will be too when they pop up. Fingers crossed for Soundgarden and AIC. The internet will probably melt down when Radiohead gets nominated.

It's pretty amazing that The Replacements were nominated. I guess they're the token "influential underground band that never sold any records" nominee. Fingers crossed for The Pixies.

Eighth nomination for Chic. They still have no chance. They're the Buffalo Bills of rock and roll. Unless playing on "Get Lucky" is enough to nudge them in. Nah.
