Bassist avaiable for fill in work and new project!

Post by Big Jimi Cee »

There are always openings in the schedule that allow for some additional playing time. If you need someone to fill for an evening or in the short term while you are looking for a replacement, let me know.

For those that don't know me:

Many years of playing experience, quick study, good working knowledge of music theory.

Pro Gear:
Fender, Rickenbacker, Ken Smith, Jon Hill, and NS Design fretted and fretless basses.

SWR, David Eden, Mesa amplification with amp configurations that can cover pretty much any situation.

I don't drink or use drugs and take a professional approach to music and performances.

Reliable transportation, travel not a problem.

From a fill in perspective I am pretty open but there are a few caveats:

If you need to play with your volume knob at 11 I am probably not your guy.

Pretty open from a music genre standpoint but not really into Punk, Metal and the heavier forms of music.

So if you are in the need for a fill in bassist, hit me up and we can talk rates and availability. My email address is attached. If you need to call my number is on my FaceBook page.

I am also looking for a full time playing gig as well. Looking for something that is not real mainstream but still has an appeal both musically and rhythmically. Ideally something with a heavy groove, and a deep pocket with enough room for some creativity and flexibility in the rhythm section. If you got something cooking along these lines hit me up and we can see if there is a fit. My preference is a working band but will entertain the right start up. Looking for professional minded musicians that want to play 4 to 6 times a month.

Jim is a top notch, professional musician. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. If you're looking to do something in the areas he's mentioned, you couldn't do any better.
