I heard this a bit ago. It's pretty cool-sounding, but then at the same time, it makes me want to hear the old version, or at least go back to the same texture of the old song. Maybe I'm just craving the old guitars, rather than the more industrial sound. Still... It's pretty bad ass nonetheless

I like the original. I think this one sucks ass. I could only take a min of it. Not at all a fan of Hale or Draiman. My opinion.

Allthough it was nice to not hear any wild bird calls from Draiman.

I thought that Lzzy did a great job, but I don't think Draiman's voice jived with hers. Didn't have the harmonies of the original. All in all, a decent cover. Although I don't agree with Keith much, I have to agree with him on the whole jungle bird noise thing. Uh Uh.

Rob, you can have respect for what the band has done in their career and still think their music blows...in fact, that's pretty much my feeling about Halestorn in a sentance. I think it's great what they've accomplished and I respect them for their hard work and dedication that has gotten them to where they are, but all the same I wouldn't subject my worst enemies to listening to their bullshit music because I think it blows donkey balls.

As to the issue at hand, I never thought the original was that amazing of a song that it needed covered and the cover is....eh...okay but not anything amazing or even that interesting with the obvious exception of Lzzy Hale's voice.

Meh, I didn't care for the original and certainly don't care for this. I pretty much think along the same lines as the post above me except for the fact that Lzzy's voice doesn't do it for me at all(not saying she sucks by any means), just not a fan.

It's definitely a cool cover. Better or just as good as the original? That's debatable, but Ford always had a tendency to sing a couple cents out of key and that's always made me wince a little bit whenever I listen to her stuff; in other words, I like hearing Lzzy staying in pitch throughout the entire song.

I don't know about autotune, I think she has a pretty good voice but it's apparently not as strong as she thinks it is. That is not to say that normally she sounds bad, she's got talent, she just doesn't have the ability that she pretends she does. I mean, she has a beautiful voice and I'd hate for her to destroy it by being immature about her performances, but I can see that being her future.

I actually had to look up who this was and go listen to some Kix on youtube (blech)...wtf?

Apparently he's in a new band, Funny Money....kind of also a blech for me though.
