hey, are you still looking? I'd love to join a metal band as a singer, some of my biggest singing influences are Dio, Sabbath and Maiden and I'm trying to teach myself to growl, I'm also big into Arch Enemy, COB and the Distillers (they're actually punk but the singer's great.)
