Due to work commitments and relocation, The Sitch will unfortunately be losing our rhythm guitarist in a few months.
What we are:
A six-piece rock band based out of Altoona doing covers and an increasing number of originals.
We do a wide variety of modern and classic rock covers, with random diversions into punk, ska, funk, etc. At heart we're a bluesy garage rock band. We don't get very heavy, but we do get raw and aggressive.
We practice weekly in Altoona and usually gig 2-4 times a month around Altoona and Bedford.
We have a fun, laid back attitude with a lot of camaraderie and no drama. It's just a great bunch of guys.

What we're looking for:
A rhythm guitarist with at least some lead ability for a few harmony lines here and there. If you want to do some leads, that's cool too.
You should have decent quality gear that stays in tune and sounds good. We like a raw, gritty rock sound with few effects, so a single channel tube combo is all you need amp-wise.
You'll also play some bass on a few songs where our bass and keyboard player switch to horns. You won't need any bass gear.
The Sitch is once again looking for a rhythm guitarist. Everything in the previous posts holds true, including the parts about beer. We've had a great year so far and 2014 is shaping up to be even better.
Two out of two bass players surveyed approve of The Sitch! Somebody please join our band. We already laid the groundwork. You just need to learn a few songs, drink free beer, socialize with {whatever gender you're into}, and get paid.
