Acoustic Bridge Direction

Post by Mackovyak »

Ok stupid question, but I'm always wondering if I'm putting it in right.

The plastic bridge on the body of the acoustic. Looks triangular with the a fat end (strings further from the neck) and a thin end (strings closer the the neck).

Does the fat end go towards the low (thick) strings or the high (thin) strings?

:?

Yeah the thicker end usually goes toward the Low strings, you can usually buy a bridge that is " compensated " wich offsets the B string for better intonation. Go to your local music store and they'll probably help ya out
Don't bitch to me about the economy while you're still buying Chinese products.
