Battle of the Acoustics

Post by kayla »

Any rockpagers participating this year? The Rhythm Sharks will be playing next week March 6th, looks like we drew the last slot of the evening. And the boys from Punk Fiction will be playing the 13th.

In case you aren't familiar with it, the Battle of the Acoustics takes place at the City Hotel in Northern Cambria. It's every Wednesday evening and will have 6 performing groups. They pick a 1st and 2nd place that will move on to the next rounds. Winner gets $500. The crowd picks the winners via ballots, the only way you can vote is if you stay until the end of the night (so you see each performing group).

This is my first year participating, i am slightly nervous but looking to have a good time. It's great exposure for newer groups. They may still have spots open, so if anyone needs information feel free to PM me.

So anyone else participating? If so, what week did you get?

- kayla.
