PLCB Fear = No Booze for Band

Post by RonS »

While playing a gig the head bartender feared the PLCB was in the house, so we were denied alcohol while we were playing on stage.

Valid law or just paranoia?

Was a very long, miserable, dry 3rd set :(

I suppose there could be some validity to a fear of giving you "free" booze, but for all anybody knows the band runs a tab. Being that you're not a venue employee (technically a subcontractor), you get to make your own rules about your conduct on the job.

Of, course, Drumming Under the Influences affects us all...

I smell BS.

We couldn't physically walk up to the bar and pay for a drink and take it back to the stage. Denied!
