Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the December 30 edition of Rocky 104.9 and Rocky 99's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 9 to 11 PM during Steelers football season on WRKY-FM (www.rocky1049.com) and WRKW-FM (www.rocky99.com).

We began to close the book on 2012 with the first half of our look back over the past year on the area music scene. During Part 1 of our 2012 Year In Review Special, we recapped area music scene happenings from January through June. We looked at the news stories, noteworthy shows, band personnel moves, formations, shake-ups and break-ups that impacted the area music scene. And of course, we heard music from many of the bands and artists who made their mark on the area music scene in 2012!

And we’ll hear music from bands and artists that impacted the central PA music scene in 2012! We’ll finish sending 2012 out the door on the 2012 Year In Review Special, Part 2 edition of the “Homegrown Rocker,” this Sunday night!

NOTE: With the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2012 football season now concluded, the “Homegrown Rocker” will return to its non-football season air time of 8 to 10 p.m. beginning with the January 6 program!
