I'm seriously thinking about hanging up the music biz so here is the first thing to go. This is my practice rig. I bought the head (to the best of my memory) in 1995 from 8th St. Music in Philly for about $369.00. It has been a flawless amp. It's been idle for the last 3 years. For the first four years, it was used roughly 12-16 hours a month. There are two minor issues. It has a very small burn on top. 1/8 inch x 1/8 inch and the contour pot is a bit scratchy. I'm pretty sure some electronic cleaner would fix that. I bought the cab used about four years ago. It was cosmetically shot but still sounded good. I stripped off the old tolex and recovered it in speaker carpeting, got rid of the old mesh grill and replaced it with two heavy duty grills. Rewired it with 18 guage wire and added a dual jack that is wired in parellel. It is 4 ohm, BTW. This would make a great rig to play out or use at home or for practice. It's got plenty of volume. 450 watts @ 2 ohms. In fact, the head has way more than this cab can handle. The first link is the manual and the second is what people had to say on Talkbass. I'm asking $300.00 for the whole rig. PM me if interested. I'm in Bedford. Real easy to find off 99/220.
