Find out for me, Matt, I am spoken for all weekend.
I enjoyed the last show at the Warehouse, sorry I had to bail so early.

never say never... but I will say from what I have heard Jason is enjoying his new situation a lot. He is the primary composer for the band House of Cain and he is getting the chance to unlock a lot of ideas that he has had stored away. If House of Cain becomes the project he has always envisioned for himself he would be crazy to leave it. The scenario of Deviance being reborn without Jason is odd to me, because I think thats the thing most ppl remember about the band was the brothers on the bass and guitar. But if House of Cain becomes what I believe it will be, which is a powerful wrecking machine, and they can have some longetivity, I suppose if I called Jason and told him I wanted to fire Deviance up without him I probably would have his blessing. The odd part is at that point, wouldnt it make more sense just to start anew, unless another original member was involved like Eric? Simply put, dont write the epitaph just yet, but nothing is in the works at this moment.

We ran into Jason yesterday and he seems to love what he's doing now. The first chance we get (when Jae's not playing) we're going to stop up to see them. I told him what sucked the worst is a friend of ours in WV dug your Cd...and he is bummed to high heavens that y'all are on hiatous. I'm bummed too. But good luck to Jason with Cain and Mike and Chad with whatever they do next.
We miss you guys...gotta come out and have a beer with us soon! (Bring the woman!)

deviance RIP
sorry but it looks like deviance is dead. i loved working with chad, my best friend and my brother but i cannot go back to the unhealthy situation it became. drama is a joke; it is all about making good music and playing with guys you love. chad is the best, so get something together so i can come support you; you are WAY too talented to let a piece of crap take away your love of playing. house of cain lives!!! HELL UP!!!

Deviance kicked ass, but Jason shall too!
The one thing that sux, is that the last time I ran sound for Deviance, you guys kicked ass and it seemed like you finally got to the point you guys wanted and needed to go(which was heavier with Chad singing again). However, if I know Jason, House of Cain will kick total ass! I am looking forward to hearing you guys, and we will play anywhere/anytime with you guys for sure!

A few comments - If anyone wants to see the "new" Chad, I have pics. They retail for $9.99 a picture. Who knew Chad Straw was soooo handsome under all that hair!
And a comment about "House of Cain"...what in the hell was that - f'en awesome is what I'd say. The show last night at The Warehouse was excellent. The beats were one, tight, and kick ass. The vocals were so different from the norm of today...very creative. It reminded me a bit of old Megadeth...that was just my first reaction to the vocals.

Whenever you get something recorded, I wanna hear it.
The biggest thing I found out about the majority of the musicians down here is they're pretty much playing strictly for the money. I feel like an idiot asking people to jam anymore because they look at me like I'm crazy or something. One of the guys told me the other day that he only has anything to do with music whenever he's playing on stage.
Here are the URL's of a few of my favorites that have websites:

Ya know I might be a little biased here, but I thought the job that House of Cain did was fantastic. I really dont get the vox as early Megadeth though. After further thought I dont know who to compare them to. Maybe an evil Jonathon Davis. Maybe Corrosion of Conformity's Mike Dean. All I know is that I had a great time. And BTW Fetterman, are u trying to blackmail me???????? LOL, post er up, and we will donate the proceeds to charity. After 20 yrs of having power mullets and all one length hair styles, it was time to reinvent myself.
never forget
never forget the helmet chad; never forget...
