While this list makes Sade appear as a solo act, Sade is actually a band named after their lead singer Helen Folasade Adu's stage name Sade Adu much as Bon Jovi is named after Jon Bongiovi and Van Halen after Alex and Eddie. Sade has had the same band member lineup since 1983 augmented by additional musicians on recordings and live performances.

It is surprising they made the list but they are still immensely popular worldwide.
