Fav album of the year

Was just thinking, as we are winding down to the end of the year, what are some of you guy's fav albums from this year?

I'd say for me, I like the new Alice In Chains album. Always nice to hear Cantrell play I tell you that.

Another one that I like is the new Rush album. Heard a couple tunes on the radio at work and it's nice to hear them again. It's some of their best work in years imo.

Another one is the new Aerosmith album, I'm kinda diggin that one as well.

Love the new Six Feet Under album too. They always deliver in spades, and tear shit up album after album. Kinda like the AC/DC of Death Metal, in the respect that they are consistently good at what they do, and every album you know what you're gonna get. Slayer is that way too.

Mine has been Amaryllis by Shinedown. I've had it on constantly since i bought it back in March.

Now this is funny, the new Alice in Chains album that I was referring to was Blue Gives Way To Black. I got a copy from a friend a few months ago.
When he gave it to me he said "Here's some new Alice in Chains for ya"
When I posted this thread, I listed that album thinking it was released this year, when in fact it was released in 2009! Holy crap, I've been out of the scene for a while!
Regardless, I suppose I should have checked before I posted. Honest mistake.
