Power question

We have two pv215 which are 700w continuous at 4 ohm. How should we size the power amp for that?

Most speaker manufacturers have their amp recommendations on their web site. If not, figure out what the peak power of the speaker box is and find an amplifier with a similar output rating. My gut feeling is that an amp with a 2000W @ 4Ω rating per box will work fine.

The RMS on those are 350W and the peak is 1400W.

I'd get an amp with some built in electronics & a limiter that puts out 700-1000 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms.

Under no circumstances would I get an amp that has an instantaneous peak power rating less than 1400W.
