I hope it doesn't suck... Last I heard of him, he was suckin on a glass dick in LA somewhere. He must have went to rehab, because this wasn't that long ago.

Id like to see him get with a decent group, and perhaps a vocalist that is decent sounding...either way, it's great news.

Read about this on Rig Talk. Always dug Jake's playing. Was a real shame what he did to himself but glad to see he's trying to get his stuff together.

I know when myself,Mr. Feathers and the late great Jeffery Wallack saw him at Sabs in the early 90's with his Pre Badlands band WWIII he was clearly fucked up. That show was sad.Other than that he's remained out of the spotlight.Hell, he's still alive and making a comeback.I'll be one of the first in line!!

A few years back he was playing in sort of a punk power trio in Vegas. I saw a local music news feature on them and he wouldn't even do an interview, he just stood off in the distance where you could barely see him. He has some demons... don't know if they're chemical, emotional, all of the above. Still a hell of a guitar player, though.

I always thought he was sorely underrated, I saw him on the Bark At The Moon tour in '84, and he was fantastic... very fluid, almost effortless. Helluva rhythm player, too, which I tend to appreciate.

Nice!!! I was a generation too young, but I wouldve been there! Wow, the stories you guys could tell I'm sure..
I always like his playing, in fact he is one of my favs, and yea very underrated..thats an understatement. Most new Ozzy fans think it goes Rhoads>Wylde, and dont even know of Jake.

I'm just glad that he is turning himself around, i truly wish him the best, and I hope he succeeds and brings back a forgotten era in guitar playing...
